Kintsugi-Inspired Clothing
Kintsugi (meaning "golden seams") was developed in Japan 500 years ago as a lavish means of putting broken vessels back together again using gold. This Japanese technique of mending broken pottery is a beautiful metaphor for embracing your flaws and imperfections.
I developed my own version of Kintsugi by using tiny hand-cut golden stars to cover imperfections in vintage clothing. From vintage designer blazers to classic denims, the result is really quite dazzling, and every single piece is a true one-off.
Come back to this page as I will be adding new one-off pieces regularly. Once it's gone its gone.
